1. Who We Are

NeoGiftShop ("we", "us", "our") is a gifting platform operated by LW Apps. We help you send gifts, manage wishlists, and transfer Espees to other KingsChat users. Our registered address is Nigeria.

2. What We Collect

When you use NeoGiftShop, we may collect:

• Account information — your KingsChat display name, username, profile picture, and KingsChat ID, obtained when you log in via KingsChat OAuth.
• Contact details — email address and phone number, provided when you place an order.
• Order information — items purchased, delivery address, payment reference, and gift messages.
• Espees transaction data — sender and recipient KingsChat IDs, amount transferred, wallet address or bank details you provide for payout.
• Wishlist data — wishlist titles, items, birthday dates, and delivery areas you create.
• Device and usage data — app version, device type, and pages visited, collected via standard server logs.
• Payment data — we do not store your card number. Payments are processed by Paystack (NGN), Stripe (USD), or the Espees gateway. We only store the payment reference and status.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process and deliver gift orders
• To send Espees transfers to recipients and notify them via KingsChat
• To display your wishlist to people you share the link with
• To send you order confirmations and delivery updates via KingsChat or email
• To prevent fraud and maintain platform security
• To improve the app and diagnose technical issues

4. KingsChat Integration

We authenticate users exclusively via KingsChat OAuth. We receive your public profile (name, username, avatar) from KingsChat at login and store it locally to personalise your experience. We do not access your KingsChat messages, contacts, or private data beyond what is granted during the login consent screen.

5. Payment Processors

We use the following third-party payment processors, each with their own privacy policies:

• Paystack (NGN payments) — paystack.com/privacy
• Stripe (USD donations) — stripe.com/privacy
• Espees Gateway — operated by the LoveWorld/KingsChat ecosystem

When you initiate a payment, you are redirected to these services. We receive only a payment reference and status — never your full card number or CVV.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your data. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service delivery — we share your delivery address with our logistics partners to fulfil orders.
• Payment processors — as described above.
• Legal requirements — if required by Nigerian law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
• Wishlist pages — if you make a wishlist public, your name, event date, and gift list are visible to anyone with the link. You can set your wishlist to private at any time.
• Greetings wall — if you tick "Show my message on this page" when gifting, your name and message appear publicly on the wishlist page. You may untick this option to keep your message private.

7. Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
• Order records are retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance under Nigerian tax law.
• Espees transaction records are retained for 5 years.
• Server logs are purged after 90 days.

You may request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing privacy@neogiftshop.com. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to retention obligations above.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) at ndpc.gov.ng

9. Security

We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Passwords are never stored — we rely on KingsChat OAuth for authentication. Espees payout details (wallet address, bank account) are stored encrypted at rest and visible only to NeoGiftShop administrators during processing.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

NeoGiftShop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. International Transfers

NeoGiftShop operates from Nigeria. If you access our service from outside Nigeria, your data may be processed in Nigeria. By using the service you consent to this transfer.

12. Cookies and Analytics

The NeoGiftShop mobile app does not use browser cookies. The wishlist web pages set a session cookie strictly to maintain checkout state (e.g. pending Paystack redirect). We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising cookies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via a KingsChat message or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of NeoGiftShop after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
